Melody Manzella

Melody Manzella

Melody Manzella, a freshman at Wauconda High School, is a very artistic student as well as art oriented. It doesn’t matter if it's hands-on, digital, or with music, Melody is always involved with music and art. Most of her music consists of ’80s, rock, or indie music. In more recent news, Melody has started listening to 80’s rock more. “I was on a kick one weekend and realized I liked these songs” she explained and then shared as well that, “music is only fun when it’s blaring if it’s quiet it’s boring.” Besides having music from all different genres, Melody is able to play the guitar. Even though she enjoys playing the acoustic guitar, Melody would much rather play the drums. She’s even going to be the drummer in a band. “My dad plays the drums but it’s mostly because I want to” Melody explains. When Melody isn’t listening to music or practicing with instruments, she is either in culinary club, baking all sorts of delicious foods, or focusing on her favorite classes: math and physics. Be prepared to see Melody on stage one day. You won’t regret it.
