BoyWithUke is a 20-year-old singer and songwriter. He started posting on TikTok in 2020 and got popular for his song Toxic in September 2021. The song follows with a person talking about his toxic friends. How they use him and how he knows he needs new friends, but it isn’t easy to give up the ones he has now. His most recent song, Out of Reach, was released on  April 7, 2023. It tells a story of a guy falling in love with a girl out of his reach and how obsessed he is with her.

A few other songs he has made are Two Moons, Far Away, and Scared Of The Dark. BoyWithUke has done collaborations with Blackbear in IDGAF and Oliver Tree in Sick Of U. He also has some language diversity in his music. In his song Contigo he has lines in Spanish and in Loafers he sings a line in French. BoyWithUke’s music is popular because of the sad and relatable lyrics in the songs. Some examples are in his “Melatonin Dreams” album. 

A few of my personal favorites are Understand, Prairies, and idtwcbf. I like his songs because they describe heartbreaking feelings with an uplifting instrumental. The music is perfect to listen to when you are not currently feeling what is being described in the songs. They calm me down when I am in a bad mood or stressed out. The music definitely isn’t for everyone, but it is for those it targets.
