First, you practice with your opponents. Then, you spin the racket to see who gets to serve first. When you serve you always start on the right side behind the baseline, and then you say “Love all first serve.” you have to hit the ball in the service box. If it doesn’t hit the service box, the opponents must call it out, or it’s our point. If you win a point, your score is “15-love.” Then the same person serves again on the left side, and says “15-love first serve” If it doesn’t go over or is out, you can serve again. Then you would say, “15-love second serve.” When you are at the net you stand in the service box the server isn’t serving in. Your goal is to volley it in. When volleying, you shouldn’t let it bounce. The scoring goes a little weird, point 1 is 15, point 2 is 30, and point 4 is 40. When you both have the same amount of points you would say (the amount of points) “all.” For example: “love all,” “15 all,” “30 all.” When you both have 40 points, though, you would say “deuce!” When playing, you also must rotate. When your team is serving, one person is at the net the whole time and one person is in the back the whole time. When your team isn’t serving. You rotate between the net and the back. Every point you rotate. Every 2 games you change sides you’re playing on. If you are playing an 8-game pro-set you play until one team wins 8 games. Remember to never be rude to your partner or racket or you can get penalties, and always have good sportsmanship!
